A small personal sound amplifier for one-on-one communications and TV listening, the Pocketalker helps reduce background noise making it easier to hear in noisy situations. The 20dB high frequency boost, 25dB SPL high volume output and clarity of the Pocketalker are not found in many similar products advertised.
The Pocketalker Pro offers the same great sound quality of earlier Pocketalker models but with added features. The Pocketalker Pro uses two AA alkaline batteries for up to 100 hours of battery life.
For even greater economy, we recommend that you also purchase either the optional rechargeable battery kit (#WS-BATKT3) or optional AC Adapter/Charger (#WS-TFP008). A convenient charging jack allows you to charge your unit while you are using it.
To meet your individual needs, the Pocketalker Pro features an internal tone and gain control that can be adjusted by your audiologist to match your hearing ability. The Pocketalker Pro is available individually or with a choice of earphones or headsets. It is backed with a five year warranty - your assurance of quality and satisfaction.

My mom is 86 years old and will not wear her hearing aids. She lives with us and when she's watching TV she has the volumn at 100. At her last doctor's appointment they had a set she used during the visit.
She was finally able to hear what we were discussing. We purchased the Pocketalker and she loves it. Finally able to watch TV and we are not constantly turning the volumn down. Thank you for making such a great product!

Purchased Pocket talker for 96yr old mother. Hearing aids did not work for her. This production has worked so well for her. She enjoys conversation again. She also listened to her favorite baseball team's game for the first time in years.

THE PRODUCT WAS EXCELLENT BUT WE HAD TO RETURN IT BECAUSE MY MOTHER IS 94 AND IN AND IN A NURSING HOME AND IT WAS JUST TOO MANY WIRES FOR HER TO DEAL WITH.

My father suffers from dementia and is nearly deaf without hearing aides. He is at the stage where he can not manage hearing aides and is throwing them away! We tried this product in place of hearing aides. Excellent. The smile on his face said it all. His words were "I can hear you!" We couldn't be happier.

I never knew this product existed. When my 85 yr. old father had back surgey, the P.T. people used a similar set so they could communicate. They worked so well, I ordeed this set. They work better than Dad's H.A.s! Love them!

This pocket talker works really well and has helped the individuals that could not hear well at all to be able to have a nice conversation with them without talking so loudly. However, the when the microphone is moved to the longer cord which we use to put under the TV speaker does not connect tightly, so when moving it it either falls our or moves around to cause much scratchiness in the ears.

Purchased this for my 89 old mother who has been unsuccessful with hearing aids. She loves this amplification system and when she wears the earphones she feels youthfulness, since today everyone walks around with earphones for one reason or another.
I'm also ordering this for myself. Hearing aids are still not perfected and if my stubborn mom loves this device then that's probably the best review one could ask for!!!

I'm 73 and I should be wearing my hearing aid, but I don't/won't. I find that I gravitate toward wearing the pocket talker more frequently than I do my hearing aid although it does getting used to it; I have trouble setting the volume and the tone.

The Pocket Talker works great and my mother is able to hear us now and communicate. However, the Headphone was crooked on her head and would not stay on. I tried to adjust it but there was nowhere to adjust - they did not work for us so I ended up having to buy another headphone (behind the head kind) and they work much better and stay on her ears. I also bought the earplugs just in-case the new headphone didn't work out.
