Very good performance - good mechanical design. The clip over the ear holds the ear speaker secure to the ear but allows conversations to be heard. However, the EAR022 is more designed for speech than music. The high frequencies are very prominent and the low frequencies are reduced. This is ideal for speech where the base sounds boomy and hard to understand. With the high frequencies emphasized, speech clarity is improved. It performs as if you had a bass attenuation and a treble boost. Definitely a keeper.
