More comfortable than the ear piece that comes with a standard pocket talker, but they only last maybe up to 6 months, not sure if the wire corrodes or cracks due to constant use and getting snagged on cabinet knobs etc. or if the ear bud wears out. I have purchased many.

I was tired of t trying to use the usual double earbud and having one hanging and pulling. I never thought I'd find a single earbud. This is perfect for me. I, too, have hearing in one ear only. My ear is a bit off in its shape, but the single earbud works well.
