It appears the alarm had been a return because I had to replace the two sided tape because one side had paint stuck to it. The alarm worked when the battery was out. It appears there maybe a bad connection in the alarm. Have returned the alarm and waiting to get a new one.

Received on time, easy install. The sticky tape mount on a metal door frame slowly came loose. Using 3M Champion tape now to mount. 12v Door Battery lasted just 3 days!! It was a foreign knock off and just did not last at all. Have replaced with a domestic 12v A23 battery and we'll see how that works. Like the vibrate/chime option. Like the plug-in option!
