I'd been prone to hitting the snooze button on my old black Sonic Boom over and over again without ever really waking up. That was because given the length of the pillow shaker cord, I had to place the clock on the "bookshelf" headboard of my bed, making it easy to reach up and blindly feel for the curved snooze button. With this extension, my new Sonic Boom sits on the nightstand, requiring that I physically get up out of bed to turn off the alarm. Problem solved!
