I expected and did not mind that the device used to trigger the alarm would need to be nearby, but even with my iPhone on top of the mattress the bed shaker does not always trigger. With my phone on my night stand, approximately 2 feet away from the shaker, the alarm has triggered about 60% of the time. The phone app could use a good bit of refinement. The snooze feature requires you to slide the phone notification, view details, and from there select snooze. If you accidentally hit clear notification and the shaker has been triggered, it will not stop until you retrieve the shaker from under the bed and toggle its on/off switch. I'd stick with their fully wired, 80's style alarm clocks until Sonic Alert updates the app to fix these issues.

Tried this skater and it just about scared me out of my skin it shook so much. Will surely wake me when I get a call.

It took me a while to get use to the vibration tones . I like it being connected with my phone.
