Could not use the other Sonic Alert strobe blinker that you plug in wall because it won't work with HomeAware clocks. It is more expensive than the other strobe blinker so we only bought one. This HomeAware Blink has different color lights depending on whether it is the phone, doorbell, fire, etc. There are five different colors. The disadvantage is that when it goes on it only stays on for 12 second and does not repeat so it can easily be missed. The cheaper strobe blinker keeps going and it is eye catching.
