Yes they are hard to install on the sennheiser earpiece but thats how they stay put.

THESE FOAM TIPS HAVE SUCH A SMALL HOLE WE CAN'T GET THEM ON THE EARPIECES. USELESS AS FAR AS I CAN TELL. WASTED MONEY.
Better than the ear tips provided

Purchased Senheiser SET 860 earphones and found the ear tips on the earphones, regardless of the size, were very uncomfortable to wear. These foam ear tips are much better though after a while they wear down and aren't much better than the ones provided by Sennheiser. The foam tips come with a very small hole and it takes a bit of coercing to get them to fit over the larger earphone posts.
