this is not a good phone at least for me...the ringer is not loud enough,,,if i dont nhave my hearing aid on i cant hear it ring...annoying...and the volume isnt as loud as i hoped it would be... and when i do use the phone people voices fade in and out like a cell phone...this phone is very disappointing to me

I have been using a geemarc phone I got from the state and wanted another one in the den. It looked the same in the picture but the sound is awful. I had my son listen and his response was "That's terrible". Checked and the models are different. I returned it and ordered MPLI500, it has caller ID and better sound quality. Diglo was very good at making the change.

My mother is very satisfied with the AP60. She loves the large buttons and the one button call. The volume is very loud, and it amplifies her voice for us also or perhaps makes it clearer. The caller ID comes up on the TV, but not on the phone itself. She goes to old phone, checks the id, then answers the new phone.....trying to talk her into leaving TV on with volume off....

After trying a couple of "amplified" phones for my 88 year old father, This one WORKS! He can hear the audio with or without his hearing aids in (please Dad, wear your hearing aids...). He especially likes the speaker phone function and the single button directory calling. The ultra-bright incoming call flashing LED also gets his attention. I'd give this phone a 5-star rating if it had more phone number storage positions. This is a well made phone!

Can hear great with it but it desperately needs caller ID. Add that and I'll buy another.

My mom could not hear on any phone. This is the first phone we can actually have a great conversation with. Very nice product.

Bought this for my 84 year old mother who uses hearing aids but they do not help her on the phone. This is the best we have had, she can hear without her aids. She is delighted that the grandsons can actually call her now! Wish we would've known about this phone 4 years ago.

My Mom is back on the phone again! Easy to adjust the volume and big buttons are big plus. Glad we found this product.

Customer service helped me pick out the right phone. I needed one a bit more amplified than the one my hard of hearing mother had been using. This phone is working very well. My mother can hear conversations that she couldn't hear on her previous amplified phone. There is a tone adjustment so I have it set so she will hear the higher tones she hears best. The boost can be left on with the volume adjusted to the level she needs. She could carry on a conversation with my soft spoke sister!!! Success!!!

Just got this phone for my father who has limited vision and significant hearing loss - this phone is simple to use and the best amplification available.

I bought this phone for my aunt and uncle and they love it. They can listen at the same time to phone calls. They can hear with or without their hearing aids with this phone, whereas before they had difficulty hearing with their hearing aids in! Bought this phone for my father who wears a hearing aid. I finally don't have to yell when talking to him. It does not interfere with his hearing aid. Only drawback he says the buttons are very large (he has good eye sight just hearing issues) wishes it had an answering machine but overall he loves the phone.

Super volume! My profoundly hard of hearing Dad doesn't even have to use the boost feature! Wish numbers were a little smaller. Also wish it had voice mail. Still a great value.

Dad is still getting use to the phone, but it great not to yell at him all the time. If it had voice mail it would be 6 stars out of 5.

My father is deaf in one ear and can only hear 33% in the other ear. The phone rings very loud and he can now hear it on the first ring. Before I would have to let the phone ring like 10 times. The numbers are big and the light on the phone is bright. This is a good purchase.

My 101-yo mother can finally hear me on the phone! What a pleasure to be able to have a two-way conversation. To answer calls all she needs to do is pick up the receiver with no buttons to punch. The only negative about this phone is that it has way too many extra functions that she'll never need/use. I should add that I had a live chat with one of the representatives before purchasing and she was very helpful. Shipping was the same day and I received the phone in a couple of days.

My 98 yrs old girlfriend can now talk on the phone again. Alice stopped calling people because she could not understand what they were saying, she wears hearing aides in both ears. She called me tonight and asked me to go to dinner with her! Yeah she is back!!!

This is the best phone for the hearing impaired, and I have 4 - 5 different models from other suppliers, to judge by, before I found this one, There is no buzzing sound which I get on other phones. I would recommend this phone without a hesitation.

I just bought this phone for my Dad who has no hearing in his right ear and, although he has a hearing aid in his left ear, he has limited hearing in that ear. My mother recently passed away and now my Dad is left alone to answer the phone himself. With his limited sense of hearing, communicating with him via a "normal" phone was next to impossible. I purchased this phone for my grandfather who is extremely hard of hearing even with his hearing aids in. The sound booster was exactly what he needed especially when he is on speaker phone. This is an example of how well this telephone is working for him. He received a call from his daughter in South Carolina and had her on speaker phone. The sound was so clear and loud that he told her to stop shouting at him. Well worth the money spent and will be purchasing another one for my father!

This phone is horrible. The sound is distorted. There is a buzzing sound. Neither end can hear one another. Junk.

I bought this phone for my father who has pretty severe hearing loss and uses hearing aids. Over time, he couldn't hear me at all on his old phone. It was frustrating for both of us. After many frustrating conversations with my mother who has severe hearing loss and wears hearing aids, I purchased this phone for her. We can now talk with ease. It did take her awhile to find the right combinations of settings that work for her but having the options of settings was nice. I would recommend this product!!!!

My 97 year old mother with hearing aides had difficulty talking on a conventional phone, therefore family and friends stopped calling because it was frustrating for both parties. With this phone the volume is high enough for mom to hear clearly and is now able to communicate with distant relatives and friends.

Very low amplification (if there is any) and very week ringer. Unpacked, assembled, tried for an hour, disassambled and sent this useless to me out. Surprised it got "positive " review.

This telephone for the hearing impaired does a good job in providing increased volume for the user. The "Boost" button works well, however it toggles ON and OFF, which can be confusing for elderly people. My mother is 96 and had a really hard time understanding the Boost button. She would push it multiple times, thinking each push would increase the volume. But each push turn it ON, then OFF.
