this phone works great for my mom who is hard of hearing

Phone is significantly louder, which helps me a lot. I have no need for enormous buttons, speed dial and loud ringer. I'm not sure the voice amplification and clarity would be adequate for a person that needs an extra loud ringer and a flashing light to realize that the phone is ringing. Would be much better if there was variable amplification, rather than just a tiny slide switch that turns amplification on and off.

I purchased this phone for a hearing impaired relative. I liked the fact that description stated volume control on handset. This volume control consisted of a lo and hi setting. Honestly, when on hi setting, the volume was no different than the volume on my cordless home phone! Sorry, but if you are purchasing this phone for amplification feature...I would seek out other phones!

Bought it for my 93 year old mom, she loves it! She can hear again when using this phone. Great price too.

Bought it for Mom and she can hear now, actually everyone can hear, It's so loud everyone around can hear it too. Definitely recommended if you are looking for a cheap amplified phone.

I just need a phone where I can hear those on the other end. Don't need any other bells and whistles. This phone is more than adequate to do that.

We tried 3 different phones for my Mom who has macula degeneration. Are motto was KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid) This one fit the bill.

I purchased this for my father who has cataracts in both eyes and had difficulty dialing regular small button phones. He Loved it!!! You can quickly and easily disconnect the 911 button and reprogram it with you own emergency contact number. Now all he has to do is push the 911 button if he can't dial for any reason. I recommend this phone for any parent or loved one having any sight issues.

So far I have been unable to store any numbers any numbers in the phone.

My dad is hard of hearing and his eyesight is poor as well. I ordered the phone for him for Christmas and had delivered to his home. I live in a different state. When I called him he said it was great! He loves the big buttons and that there is a dial to change the volume! Made him very happy. thanks!

I ordered this phone but had problems with the website. I could not get the order to go through and when was all said and done it was still in my cart. I later rec'd an email telling me that I still had an item in the cart. I called the next day & was assured the order did not go through. Then I called AGAIN and rec'd an email from a different person assuring me there was one purchase only. A few days later I rec'd 2 phones. Luckily I was only charged once. After multiple phone calls and emails to straighten out the mess, I set up the one phone and tried to use it (at this point I had 2 of the same identical phones). The phone was for my HOH dad but when others called they could not hear him, despite my turning all vol. buttons up to the loud setting. I tried to use it. It sounds very tinny and hollow on our end and on the end of the speaker, they hear a very quiet voice. Okay, so I had 2 phones.. I thought I would try the other one and just return the one that did not work well. I tried the 2nd phone and it was the same way. For the price it appears to be a large chunk of cheap, hollow plastic. The only good thing was the huge buttons. Our regular /old phone is much louder than this one. BOTH phones were the same way.. very tinny sounding and the person on the other end can barely hear the speaker on this phone. I am honestly surprised that this phone has 5 stars. I rec'd 2 phones and give BOTH of them a one star. I rtn the one today and will be returning the other soon. Not worth the money and certainly not worth the hassle I had to deal with going through all of this. ****Thank you for the feedback. The product was excellent but your website ordering partner messed up my order. I selected a two day FedEx and they selected a One Day FedEx which cost me an extra $70.00 for the delivery. I tried to resolve it with your company with no results.

Excellent choice for someone with vision or hearing problems. Purchased for 91 year old who is in assisted living. Had to reprogram the red button because she kept hitting it (911) because someone was always there. Very easy to program/reprogram special buttons.

Very happy with amplifier phones. Just what my 95yo mother needed. Easy to install. Made one mistake in re-programming the 911 button...apologized to 911 phone operator. She likes the level of amplification, and she appreciates the large number layout. Good product at a very reasonable price.

I purchased this phone for my mother in a nursing home, It allowed us to speak with her without shouting and for her to hear us too!

I take care of a lady with severe eye disfunction. we struggle all the time for better ways to make her life more normal. This phone was everything promised and working perfect for her needs. I highly recommend.
