The lightweight E-Scope has a slim design to easily go around the neck when not being used. Great for general medicine for heart, breath, bruit, bowel or Korotkoff sounds. Amplifies approximately 30 times louder than normal acoustic stethoscopes.

- Specialist Adult Diaphragm: stainless-steel diaphragm produces 50% greater sound sensitivity, a more comfortable feel, and allows listener to use the split-finger technique
- Fingertip control of volume and heart sound or breath sound filters are on the head of the stethoscope
- Volume control on the head of the stethoscope for easy increase and decrease of sound levels
- Filter control to hear heart and breath sounds clearly within their frequency range
- Automatic volume restart remembers the last volume setting
- USB-style side output jack for accessories including headphones for a second listener or connecting cables to a PC for recording purposes in electronic medical records and telemedicine
- Includes a pediatric diaphragm, plastic adult diaphragm, pediatric and infant bells, and your choice of ear tips
- E-Scope design reduces the amplification of unwanted outside room noise
- Battery-powered by one (1) AAA battery
- Automatic shut off to conserve battery power
- Maximum amplitude or sound pressure level output is 120dB at 100Hz (about 30 times louder than an acoustic stethoscope)

Expensive but worth it

The stethoscope is great for my hearing loss. I was disappointed when it arrived because the battery was dead. For a $300 stethoscope, the battery should be working. It was also incredibly tight on my ears so for three days I had it pried open on the table to relieve some of the tension. Overall very happy, thank you.
Concerns of scope

The earbuds are so tight I had a headache after 5 minutes. It is rather bulky as well. I had to take out my in the hearing aids to use as well. Only plus side was that I would actually hear heart and lung sounds when I otherwise wouldn't be able to use.

As a long time Cardionics Customer I bought this one for my wife. One of the tubes broke the first night my wife used it. I have sent it back to Cardionics for repair or replacement. They have always been quick to respond with repair or replacement and I'm sure this time will be no different. Cardionics has always stood behind their products.
It has saved my career (at least for now)

The Cardionics E-Scope is easy to use. The amplification range is excellent for my degree of hearing loss. It is reasonably priced. However, it is rather cumbersome to wear around my neck at work. As well, it does not fit well in my lab coat pocket. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product.

I had for 7 years and then one day it just stopped working. The ear buds would periodically fall off. I would be lucky enough to find them in my patients' rooms.

I obtained this E scope during my nursing rotation. out of the 15yrs I have had this stethoscope I had to have work done only twice. 1st time the off and on button stop working. and now the bell will not screw on even though I never had to remove it. I am very satisfied with this stethoscope. i use it with my cochlear implants as well.
