my hearing is really poor, i need all the gain I can get. The improved performance compared to the older standard B&S neckloop is excellent. The other extra features have made it less easy to use and carry around.

Works very well, nice clear sound and surprisingly loud in spite of the fact that it has no amplification (it does not use batteries). Cons: Cord is too short for someone as tall as I am. That is saying something because this has the longest cord in Diglo' inventory I think. The joints where the cords connect into the center piece and the audio jack are far too stiff to do their job. The cords wear out just as fast with them as they would without. I personally do not like the break away safety connection in the loop itself. That being said, the break away connection takes some real force to actually pull apart. I mainly do not like it because it is the first place where the cords fall apart from regular wear and tear.

My son says it works really well and he can hear better with it than his old one

worked fine until it stopped. I finally wiggled the cable where it joined with the audio jack, and the signal went off and on, kind of like.....an intermittent short. IN fact, exactly like an intermittent short. I bought this because my last neckloop shorted out, and I thought this one was so well made that it wouldn't happen again.
